Kurmangaliev Garifulla (1909-1993) - singer (tenor). People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan State Prize. Born in the Urals Region. Shyntas and Shaiki, the apprentices of people’s composer Mukhit, had great influence on his creative formation. G.Kurmangaliev was one of the founders of the national opera.
