About Fuo
Fuo is an ensemble from Hamburg, Germany, playing instrumental music. A japanese jazz band of the same name can be found here: 風 Fuo. Current members are Martin Schwendemann (drums, bells, percussion), Leif Rumbke (bass, guitar, floor organ, loops, funny games) and Hanne Franzen (piano, keyboard). The name Fuo was borrowed from the abbreviation of the medical phenomenon called Fever of Unknown Origin at the beginning of band activities in spring 2006, however it is considered as an acronym by now.
