A bizarre confection of funk and hip-hop with rapping in Japanese, Funky Shammy's 'My Shammy Six' started getting play on France's Radio Nova in 1996. Nothing can be found online about 'Funky Shammy' and it would would appear that the people at Radio Nova are none the wiser either; when 'My Shammy Six' featured on a compilation released by the radio station to celebrate their 25 years of activity the liner notes said "We did'nt found (sic) who owns this title, but we love it!"
