There are three bands by this name; one is a band from Philadelphia, PA that is now defunct (http://www.myspace.com/friendsofthelibrary) another is from Washington, DC; Another is based in Albany, New York (http://soundcloud.com/friendsofthelibrary). This Washington, DC band is a female-fronted, four member indie-pop/indie-rock band, consisting of Julia Novakowski (guitar/vox), Javier Diaz (guitar), Nestor Diaz (bass), and Matt Hyson (drums). The band has existed in several incarnations since around 2005, but this is the current lineup.
