About Friend Called Fred
Blues inspired Indie Rock is the best way to describe Friend Called Fred. Formed in early 2008 the Crewe based 4-peice has gradually built up a loyal fan base in their hometown. Originally formed by Ed and Jim with the intention of playing covers for their mates and messing around on a Thursday afternoon, Friend Called Fred soon realised there was more to this band business than that. They got their arses in gear, found a new drummer, and scraped together two or three songs.
