About Frett
Frett is the solo project of, 19 year old, Simon Lucas-Hughes from Suffolk. EP1 – his first work draws upon a fine blend of angular guitar and a contribution to the electronic genre. The music is skillfully recorded and produced at home with a brooding intensity. The songs mix a quirky but balanced instrumentation with cutting guitars and a beautiful, soft and aching vocal. The songs, deeply personal with a sarcastic and colourful edge that is reminiscent of Thom Yorke blended with The Strokes.
