The award-winning band The Folk Pistols was founded in 1994 by Pittsburgh folksinger Frenchy Burrito primarily as a vehicle for Frenchy’s off-beat original songs. Over the years the cast of musicians has varied. (Sort of like the musical equivalent of the French Foreign Legion) Currently new and old recordings are in the works.
