About Frederic Guthrie
An idahoan by birth, Mr Guthrie began his musical training at the age of 6 by studying the piano. He was very fortunate in gaining rich experience with a small American opera troupe, with which he developed such roles as Colline in Boheme, Bartelo in Figaro and Raimondo in Lucia, among others, all to good reviews. After this stint, Guthrie went on to study at the Academy of Music in Vienna.
