Rev. Dr. Frederick J. Freelance, Ph.D., Th.D., D.F.S., was born in Germany in 1964 but grew up in Queens and Staten Island, New York, later moving to Southern California where he currently resides. Dr. Freelance makes Experimental Noise & Electronic Collages and Soundscapes under the name Naked Gunman & augenblick as well as his own. He uses 4- & 8-bit synths, MIDI Drums, digitized sound recordings of such diverse items as Bird Calls from Germany's Black Forest
