
Frank Honeyboy Patt b. 1 September 1928, Fostoria, Alabama, USA. After singing in church as a child, Frank ‘Honeyboy’ Patt taught himself guitar soon after emigrating to Los Angeles, California, in 1952. There he formed a musical partnership with pianist Gus Jenkins, also from Alabama. Two years later Patt made his first record, with Jenkins, issued on the Specialty Records label, a powerful blues evoking the scene of a murder, ‘Blood Stains On The Wall’.
