About Francis van Broekhuizen
Francis van Broekhuizen started her singingcareer at the age of 15. Her first private singing lessons she got in The Haque from the Bulgarian Soprano Dobrinka Yankova. In1997 Francis started at the "conservatorium van Amsterdam" with the British Countertenor Kevin Smith. In 2002 Francis graduated cum laude . From 2002 untill 2004 Francis studied at the "De Nieuwe Opera Academie" at Amsterdam and The Haque. During this Master education she had singing lessons with the famous mezzo- Soprano Cora Canne Meijer.
