About Francesco Paolo Sacrati
Francesco Paolo Sacrati (c. 1600, Parma - 1650, Modena) was an Italian composer. He was Kapellmeister to Francis I, Duke of Modena. He was one of the pioneers of Italian lyric theater. He premiered, among others, the following operas: La finta pazza (1641), Ulisse errante (1644) and Semiramide in India (1648).
