Francesco Maria Fiamengo (fl 1620–37). Italian composer of Flemish origin. In 1620 and 1621, already a priest, he was a tenor in the cappella maintained by the city authorities of Caltagirone, Sicily. Between 1627 and 1629 he was organist there. Documents of 1628 and 1629 refer to him as Doctor of Theology and Doctor of Medicine respectively. By 1637 he was working at Messina, Sicily, where his earliest known collection of music, Cantate a tre voci (now lost), was published in 1632.
