Forests Of Old was formed in 2006 by Bastard Son Of God(Vocals,Bass) and Wulv (Guitars,Atmospheres).The band is a mix of raw black metal and funeral doom with haunting dark ambient pieces thrown in.The band was joined by drummer Atum(malefitor) in 2008 and is currently writing new material.The band is signed to BLACK PLAGUE RECORDS and will see the release of their debut ep VOICES FROM OBLIVION in may 2009 with a lp release of the ep thru DIABOLIT SERVICES CULT sometime late in 2009.
