Florido de Silvestris was born in Barbarano Romano (Viterbo), in the Tuscia area . In 1656, as is clear from the "Description of the Campo Marzio district made in July 1656", Don Florido, a priest from Bar [baran] o, was about 60 years old and lived with "Gioanna, his 74-year-old mother" in Rome in a house "between the columns of San Giacomo to the eight cantons".
