Flora Molton (March 12, 1908 - May 31, 1990, Washington D.C.) was an American gospel-blues singer and (slide)guitarist. Born in Louisa County, Virginia, Molton began preaching at the age of 17, not taking up guitar until 1943, when she moved to Washington DC. Virtually blind, she supported herself by playing in the streets. From 1963, she made appearances on the folk circuit, and was later signed by a European record company when she visited Europe in 1987.
