About Flekar
The story of Flekar started on a small motorcycle driving through dusty winding roads in remote areas in East Africa. Vignir (vocals and guitar) was at a crossroads, both literal and figurative, and thats where the first songs were born. After returning from the desert he had quit his job, his old band, ended a relationship, run out of money and in need of a reboot. Music was the solution. Friends and kindred spirits joined in. Sibbi came first; played bass, sculpted and fleshed out the soundscapes of Flekar.
