Formed in June of 2008 Flags Of The Soviet Republic are a bearded alternative rock band from Blackpool, UK. The four piece group comprises of Alan Gillhespy (Vocals/Guitars), John Graham (Guitars/Vocals), Glen Moyers (Bass/Cello) and Steven 'Pedro' Pellatt (Drums/Piano). The band cites its main musical influences from mainstream contemporary guitar bands such as Biffy Clyro, Radiohead, Idlewild and Pearl Jam. However each member, as in most bands, has personal musical influence each side of the spectrum.
