About Five Stars For Failure
Five Stars For Failure was a Philadelphia, PA area hardcore band that was formed in February 1999, and existed until April 2001, then from September through November of the same year. Jay Donahue (guitar, vocals) and Justin LaBarge (bass, vocals) met in 1996 through a mutual friend and were soon making music together in the band The Idea Men, later re-named I Bleed For This? shortly before disbanding. In early 1999, Jay and Justin began writing music together again and were in search of other musicians.
