About Fine Soft Day
Fine Soft Day are a progressive rock influenced band from Manchester, having emerged from folk-rock roots. Originally formed in 1996, the band were regular performers across the folk rock scene, mainly in the North West of England, but gigging nationwide. Their live sets featured a mixture of traditional material interspersed with their self penned songs. An independently published CD, Harmless and Blue, was released in 1997. Families and careers forced the music to take a back seat over the following years.
