Fertile Virgin: Donna Sartanowicz - Bass Leslie Dell'Elce Grinley - Drums Bonnie Wiess - Drums Julie Kantner - Guitar Trisha Matthews - Guitar and everybody sang! In Boston in the late 1980's the remnants of the Fertile Virgin Choir, (Big Dippers sometimes backup singers) joined with two girls who hung out with the Volcano Suns a lot and also played guitars. The result was Fertile Virgin, a tumultuous D.I.Y. girl band that pummeled their way through their songs with 2 drummers and up to 5 vocals at a time.
