About Ferna
Fernando Osorio Zumarán—Ferna—was born in Trujillo, Peru, and lives in the Washington metropoltan area since 1988 . He began writing songs in 1970, but became more involved in music by the year 2000. Since then, he has released two albums, "Varita Mágica" in 2005 and "Arrebol" in 2008. The influence in Ferna’s music comes from The Beatles, Silvio Rodríguez, Los Angeles Negros, Kiri Escobar, Duncan Dhu, Víctor Heredia, Leo Dan and the garage band next door that keeps the artist from sleeping at night.
