Feetpackets were an improvised jazz big band who toured England three times between 1988 and 1990. The band was created and led by Mick Beck in 1987. The 14 members were all based around South and West Yorkshire, and included Paul Hession, Alan Wilkinson, Charlie Collins and Linda Lee Welch. They released one cassette, recorded live at the Termite Club in Leeds, and one CD, "Listen, Feetpackets!", recorded at Axis Studios (Sheffield) and the first release on the Discus label -- still available.
