Fat Bat Girl and the Baroness of Mitcham are a husband & wife team from Essex. She used to sing jazz live and did vocals for dance tracks, working with Italian DJs in Italy. He played rock bass. Together they found their joint sound and starting writing together in 2003/4. Their music is mainly electronica, but with influences from their past which give way to jazzy vocals, meaty bass lines and hard-hitting beats. The name is inspired by two mates, the real FBG & BOM!
