Farriers are a five piece alternative folk outfit from Northern Ireland. They combine a healthy dose of Americana into an own rootsy background, to create a rich style that, when required stomps as hard as hell. Stephen Macartney and Rachel Coulter sing the songs and play the guitars. Aaron Jackson rumbles the bass guitar and hollers the backing vocals. Kate Squires glides along on the viola. Jonny Tate batters an old beat up kit. And the occasional water trough. They listen to lots of different stuff, from bluegrass to old eighties pop.
