. Farmlife was born at Leicester Polytechnic in 1977 with Peter Swaine (Vocals), Andy Mosquera (Guitar), Steve Gerrard (Guitar), Laurence Wood (Sax), James Hunt (Bass) and Mark Thompson (Drums). Two years later Andy and Mark formed The Bomb Party, Laurence and James formed the Apollinairs and Peter formed The Joints
