
Farhād Fakhreddini (Persian: فرهاد فخرالدینی) (Born 1937, Tabriz, Iran) is a renowned Iranian composer, conductor and founder of Iran’s National Orchestra. Farhad Fakhreddini was born in Tabriz in 1937. Recommended by his father he began studying violin and from 1957 for a short while he studied with Ostad Abolhasan Saba. After finishing a 3-year course of radif with Ali Tajvidi he entered the National Music Conservatory and started to study musicology.
