The female fronted band's signature element are twin vocals, Erica and YuuriBJOUX, who combine clean and scream vocals with the metal and metalcore inspired sound. In September 2017, FAKE ISLAND released their first mini album. This was followed by a nationwide tour, crowned with a final date in Tokyo, January 2018. Fast forward to summer 2019, FAKE ISLAND released their single “Throw Down”
