About Fake Furs
FAKE FURS was birthed when Sonny Wong (drums, etc.) and Laszlo Bolender (vocals, etc.) met while working on a friend's film set. Swiftly, what were simple rehearsals at first became a band at last. A growing animosity and strong desire to create a unique sound was in place and set the two musicians to bond as friends before all. Always intending to mean what they say and say what they mean, the band favored working on quality rather than quantity, which is the concept behind "-1", the first 6-track EP in the band's history.
