from their myspace Faint Resemblance eventually started out in the fall of 2001. A schmuck named Anthony (aka Vinnie, now singin' in LaStrada) received a call from Dries (the drummer), who wanted to start a punkrockband, along with his nephew Niels (guitar hero). Anthony brought a bassplayer, named Sid. Things didn't get along with this guy so Dries asked Frank (who was "studying"-drinkin' beer-at the same school in Leuven) to come over and play the bass and also do part of the vocals.
