There are at least two bands named Failure By Design, (1) a rock band from Sheffield and (2) a pop/punk/ska band from Ormskirk. (1) Failure By Design is a rock band from Sheffield, England. Formed in early 2011, the band's original lineup was Chris Smart (vocals), Jimmy Roe-Parkin (bass/vocals), Nik Milne (guitar/vocals), Simon Bollington (guitar/vocals) and Ellis Bullement (drums). The band's debut gig came in July 2011, and in October of the same year they finished work on their debut 6-track EP recorded at Redfern Studios in Sheffield.
