About Fading Elysium
Fading Elysium was a post rock band from southern California very much similar to Explosions in the Sky and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The band was known for its energetic live shows. Throughout it's tenure, the band had a harp player, keyboardist, standup bassist and other eclectic instruments in addition to the standard guitar, bass and drums. They also employed two drummers. The audience would participate often by bringing sleighbells or tambourines.
