Fabian Gisler (Doublebass) was born on August 18th 1977 in Zürich. He graduated at Swiss Jazz School in Berne where he studied with Peter Frei, Reggie Johnson, Bert Joris, Rufus Reid and Andy Scherrer. Meanwhile Fabian attended Workshops led by Ray Brown, George Gruntz, Dave Liebman, Joe Lovano and George Mraz and he also won several prizes namely at Generations International Jazzmeeting Frauenfeld and New Jazz Generation Contest in Bern.
