About Explore
On the Big Island of Hawaii, the music scene is about as barren as the lava fields that comprise the majority of the land mass. For the most part, unless you play reggae or Hawaiian music, your chances of being heard are slim. So it is only with truly exceptional talent and relentless determination that Explore has emerged from obscurity to make themselves heard. In a rural Hawaii town, brothers Kamran and Alexei Samimi (bass and guitar) grew up with super-close childhood friend Tyler Wolff (drums).
