Excused stands for catchy poppy guitar songs you won't get out of your head for a long time. The songs are musically well constructed and the many instrumental pieces and improvisations sound very well... This is how 3voor12 (a famous Dutch pop magazine) described Excused after seeing the EP-presentation of Automobile. The Excused-men find a successful balance between the sensitive ballads and more uptempo songs during their shows. The Amsterdam based band Excused was formed in 2005 and in released their first EP in May 2007, Breaking News.
