About Ewald Hintz
Ewald Hintz (1613–1668) was a 17th-century organist associated with Gdańsk (Danzig). A scholarly study of north-European organ chorales places him at the great organ of St John’s Church in the 1640s–50s and later at St Mary’s Church after 1666, and links him to the circle of Johann Jakob Froberger.
