
Melodic Black Metal band Evangeli was formed in 1997 under the name Magog, this Sweden (Borlänge) based Viking/Folk/Black Metal band, not to be confused with their German counterparts, issued the demos 'Magog' in 2000, 'Kingdom Of Odin' in 2001 and 'Hymns To The Ancient' during 2002. Following release of a 2004 session, 'Favourable Winds Blow Us Far Towards An End' and then one single and a music video before evolving into Evangeli in 2005. They feature the line-up of vocalist / guitarist Hvergelmer
