Evan shinners has been called the Bach player of his generation (by David Dubal and TimeOut New York and others...). His approach to this music is as polarizing as it is compelling, and holds a nonpareil place in New York's nightlife. In a certain sense he is alone, Imbued with the zeitgeist: he represents the cultural milieu of Bach in the 21st century.
