Eugene at the Gates of Dawn formed in February of 2012 as a solo project for Michael T. Martinez The music is unconventional and borders on the bizarre in most cases, but is beginning to gain a small following in Apalachin, NY, where Martinez resides. With any luck, it will continue to expand. Martinez often refers to the band as "we" and their songs as "our," but these plural inferences refer not to a plurality of people, but rather him, his instruments, and multi-track recording software on his computer.
