About Ettella Diamant
The band was formed some time in 1996 by 3 desperate schoolmates Richard, Igor and Peter there in Nowhere. They were always interested in electronic music, influenced by bands like Dead Can Dance, Laika, Underworld, but also Joy Division or Can. As soon as they built a small studio at Peter's flat they started - by the help of samplers, keyboards and computer - to create (and record) misty, melancholic tunes, often acclaimed as "indielectronica for lonely souls".
