
Erikah Karst is a female Dutch singer and was born in 1972 in the city of Hoogeveen, The Netherlands. Already in 1985 she recorded an album with songs for children in the dialect of the province of Drenthe, where she lived. Karst recorded her first mainstream album "Grown woman" in 1997. In 1998 it was also released in the U.S. and Canada. Her second album "The buelton diaries" follows in 2000, among others containing the single "Psychotic, neurotic" and "Dragonfly Queen", a duet with Joshua Kadison.
