After graduating college and spending one year as a scientist, 23-year old Eric Strom saved up his money and quit his job in order to pursue music full time. In September of 2008, Eric moved to Brooklyn, NY and began to write and record one song every day. He decided to call his songwriting challenge "Eric Strom's Daily Song" or "Daily Song" for short. Day #1 was September 2nd, 2008, and he continues to write a song every day. On Tuesday, September 30th, Day #29, Eric introduced Text Me a Tune Tuesday.
