About Eric Beverly and the Sunday Best Austin-based songwriters Eric Beverly and Chris Roubieu first joined forces on The Raiders, a little league soccer team in La Porte, Texas. They reunited in high school to form the band Ice-9, which was lauded by the yearbook "Different Perspectives.” In the late 2000s, Eric and Chris began trading demos back and forth.
