A Rock trio from Waikato, New Zealand with a Punk/Grunge feel and a listenable edge, citing among their main influences Nirvana, The Foo Fighters, Seether and Blink 182 Their sound ,although unique, has been likened to that of early Silverchair, Sum41 and The Offspring. They complement this with deep, brooding lyrics which are both thoughtful and thought provoking. EQWANOX formed in March of 2004, and have built up a diverse fan base.
