As eneg, Fleury-Steiner creates a very improvisational, glitch-centric sound that takes its cues from some of his favorite experimental artists, including Cabaret Voltaire, Kim Cascone, Phonem, Tetsu Inoue, and Oval. Eneg’s main objective is to create a very amorphous microsound that embodies both ambient, IDM, and, to a lesser extent, break beat aesthetics. eneg has released works on White Label Music (U.K.) and Dharmasound (Italy).
