About Empty Zen
Empty Zen is an electronic rock band based in Seattle, Washington. Members include producers Sam Knox and Justin Guyer. Empty Zen was formed in 2002 and has since released one self-titled album on Backwards Records (2006). Work was recently completed on their second album, Empty Zen II, released in early 2010. The music is eclectic spanning styles such as electro-industrial, down-tempo, trip-hop, dub, and ambient. Empty Zen primarily produces instrumental music although guest vocals do appear on one song (Over and Over).
