Raised in a single parent home in the minute town of Farmville, NC, Emmanuel Markese Battle is a miraculous product of sufferings and hardships. Born on November 12, 1988 , he was an ambitious child with secret dreams of a better life other than that his current environment presented. Life for him began roughly with physical and mental abuse of not only himself but also those he loved dearly. His eldest brother, Bobby Battle, sheltered and protected him by means of “tough” love with intentions to prepare him for the cruel life ahead.
