About Emilee South
Emilee South is a rock singer-songwriter based in Melbourne, Australia. Combining the raw edge of punk with the driving force of rock, South shouts unapologetically over chaotic guitar riffs and charging rhythms to themes of capitalism, feminism, privilege, and the power of community. With influences ranging from Grinderman and IDLES to Sharon Van Etten, the band transition seamlessly from urgent hooks to unyielding power. South and her band featuring Matt Dixon, William Lee and Dan Berry released a debut album, 'Luxury' in 2024.
