About Elzbieta Towarnicka
Elżbieta Towarnicka (soprano) was born in Wrocław. Endowed with absolute pitch she started to perform with the Kraków Opera company while still a student at the city`s Music Academy. During several season she sang main parts in such operas as Puccini`s La Boheme and Tosca, Bizet`s The Pearl Fishers, Verdi`s La Traviata and Rigoletto, Weber`s Die Freischutz, Szymanowski`s King Roger, Gluck`s Orfeo ad Euridice and Purcell`s Dido and Aeneas. She also made numerous recordings for Polish Radio and various labels.
