About Elzbieta Sikora
Born in Lwow, Poland, Elzbieta Sikora studied piano at Liceum Muzyczne in Gdansk. She completed her first Master of Arts in 1968 at Akademia Muzyczna in Warsaw where her studies included sound engineering. In the two years that followed she studied electronic music with Pierre Schaeffer and Francois Bayle at the Groupe des Recherches Musicales in Paris. Returning to the Akademia Muzyczna in Warsaw she completed, in 1977, her second Master of Arts in composition with Tadeusz Baird and Zbigniew Rudzinski.
